Jackie Aina is basically our fairy godmother. She's always coming through in the clutch with the critical information that keeps us looking (nearly) flawless.
In her new videos she's holding down the girls with oily skin with a collection of beauty products that will keep you looking great.
She begins with primers. Primers help prevent makeup from breaking up on the face. They serve as a protective barrier.
She recommends Becca Ever Matte Poreless Primer. "This is the primer for someone who wants to look matte for a long time," she says. SIGN US UP.
She also recommends Make Up For Ever Step 1 primer.
For a smoothing effect, she recommends Murad Invisiblur Shield Broad Spectrum.
Another major concern for makeup lovers with oily skin is large pores. Jackie recommends MAC Prep + Prime Skin Refined Zone Treatment
To get your pores to do this!
Apply the product like this.
She calls Lancôme 'Visionnaire [1 Minute Blur]' Smoothing Skincare Instant Perfector "Photoshop for pores." Jackie says this product fills in pores.
After you've applied your makeup, Jackie recommends boscia White Charcoal Mattifying MakeUp Setting Spray. All setting sprays aren't created equal. "It actually is, in my opinion, one of the only sprays that I've tried...that actually mattifies the skin."
Next you've got to keep those brows from melting off.
Jackie recommends Benefit Cosmetics Precisely, My Brow Pencil Ultra Fine Shape & Define . "I never have to worry about 'Oh my God! My brows are disappearing," she says.
If you're going to be out in the sun and need SPF coverage, Jackie recommends Urban Decay 'Naked Skin' One & Done Hybrid Complexion Perfector Broad Spectrum SPF 20
If you're using concealer to cover dark circles or highlight your face, you'll be looking for something that will stay in place. Jackie recommends two full coverage concealers. NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer and Black Opal Full Coverage Concealer.
Some highlighters can exaggerate the texture of your skin. Jackie recommends Hourglass Ambient® Lighting Powder because the powders are finely milled and not too shiny.
To set your makeup, you'll need an incredible powder. Jackie's favorite is Sacha Buttercup Powder. She also recommends Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder and Benefit Cosmetics The POREfessional Agent Zero Shine.
